Commandos 2 Men of courage is a tactical action game set against the backdrop of World War II. Take control of an elite group of commandos who must venture deep into enemy territory and utilize their combined expertise to complete a series of mission-based goals. Go covert into new environments based on authentic WWII locations: the heart of the Third Reich, a northern European submarine installation, the headquarters of the Japanese army and more. Player takes control of an elite group of commandos who must venture deep into enemy territory to complete a series of mission-based objectives in an attempt to change the course of the war. The game incorporates several new features and utilizes a totally new 3D game engines, enabling the internal and external locations as well as the ability to rotate the environment.  

The player is given a major new play field and total freedom to explore as no corner of reach. Commandos 2 features three new characters, who bring with them unique skills to help defeat the enemy. However, the enemy soldiers are smarter and more varied than ever and they will hear, see and even smell your every move. Each Commando has his own special features that are essential to complete your goals. For example explosives experts call when you need to disarm a mine. At the moment the stealth timing is critical. Neutralizing the enemy is essential. Stun the guard with a fist, or silence him forever with a knife.You can pick up weapons and supplies through the course of each mission.  

Each character can have a certain amount of items that have a grid like backpack resembling the devil. Machine-guns, grenades, med-kits, rifles, uniforms, cigarettes, wire cutters all of these items is at your disposal. Your character will run through a brief plan of action before each level. That way the player can get a feel of what to do. It also makes you feel like part of the team, and helps to draw you into action. Of course the plan they come in are always blurry so you need to devise a serious strategy to find any success.
